The French Riviera

Toulon, France is where the French Navy is stationed. I have a dear friend who has lived on in France for almost three years. She sends me beautiful pictures when they travel and this last month they had sailing ships to tour. This is an example of how the French live in the South of France.

Have you ever wondered how the other half live? Join me on the adventure of a lifetime. Where the sea is crystal clear and the people know how to live the good life.

The French take long lunches so they can be at home with family during the day. They use public transp0rtation or live within walking distance of work and school.

They have paid holidays throughout the year as part of their tax system. Universal health care is not all there taxes pay for. The paid holidays, dental and all the other needs we pay for but don't receive come from Taxes. We should look at a system of taxation that provides the individual with necessary benefits to enjoy our lives compared to pork belly bridges to nowhere.
