Moving

1996 The first few years were difficult and we did the best we could with dumpster diving to find furniture.


2004 I was staying at home so much during those first few years even illness couldn't stop me from fixing up my home and making it what I wanted. After being homeless I needed to feel secure.


2008 I've been cancer free for two years. The past few years people have given me furniture as they have improved their circumstances and my home looks much more like others. Now I will go to the next phase of my life in Riverton. I've decided to live. To become all that I can. What ever it takes or doesn't take I am going to enjoy the rest of my life. I will post my new look when I'm done.

It is hard to leave a place after thirteen years. The friendships I have made, the loved ones I have lost and most of all the security of being part of a community.
